Fault tolerance, speed, and distance in a sporty look - that's what the new SIM2 series from TaylorMade has to offer. While the first generation SIM Driver focused on speed and aerodynamics, the new series focuses entirely on forgiveness. The technology from the previous model was taken over and supplemented to make the new SIM2 Max Driver a driver without compromise. The SIM2 Max Driver features neutral alignment, mid to high launch, and mid spin. Technology: New Forged Ring Construction

• The forged ring construction on the back of the club is the key that enables a new dimension of distance and forgiveness. Forged from lightweight and high-strength aluminum, the construction is milled to a precise shape. This ring combines a massive weight at the rear edge for increased forgiveness and joins the sole and crown of full carbon, as well as the newly milled rear shell surface.

SIM Inertia Generator

• The asymmetric inertia generator was designed to achieve higher clubhead speed through advanced geometry and aerodynamic analysis. A lightweight carbon sole allows mass to be redistributed for a lower center of gravity and improved forgiveness.

Speed Injected Twist Face

• For improved ball speed, each head is calibrated with special resin precisely to the threshold of the maximum speed limit. In addition, the special clubface curvature provides support for misses at the heel and toe.

Thru-Slot Speed Pocket

• The flexible Speed Pocket design is engineered to maximize ball speed and provide additional forgiveness on lower clubface hits.
