Titanium Iron Faces The high-strength Super-TIX®-51AF titanium plate is only 2.1 mm thick and offers increased flexibility and maximum ball speed. Shortened Hosel A shortened hosel lowers the centre of gravity and improves the moment of inertia for higher trajectories and straighter flights. High-Density Tungsten-Nickel Weight In irons 5 to 7, a high-density tungsten-nickel weight in the toe significantly increases the moment of inertia and improves stability at impact. Optimised Centre of Gravity by Loft The progressive variable face thickness optimises speed and launch angle for each iron loft. Long irons are designed for distance, with a lower centre of gravity to increase ball speed precisely where you strike the face. Short irons emphasise control, with a higher centre of gravity for better high-low moment of inertia. Loft-Specific Grooves Control is key with short irons. As loft increases, the grooves become deeper and closer together, enhancing spin for more control and stopping power on approach shots.
