The TaylorMade SIM2 MAX fairway wood offers a larger profile. This makes playing easier by absorbing miss-hits that occur particularly on the inside and outside. The different woods each have adapted sizes. It has a neutral alignment and high launch with medium spin. Multi-material construction A larger 190cc head design provides more space to distribute weight in the head for explosive distance, improved forgiveness and high launch. In addition, the clubface has been increased in size, providing more room for miss-hits to be corrected. New V Steel design An updated V Steel design redistributes weight to improve forgiveness while maintaining the characteristics of a low center of gravity. A lowered heel and toe area minimizes the sole area. This prevents digging too deeply into the ground and instead enables easy gliding through the fairway. Twist face made from C300 steel High-strength C300 steel provides a strong, fast face designed for explosive ball speeds, paired with Twist Face technology to overcome the golfer's tendency to miss-hit and enable straighter shots. Thru-Slot Speed Pocket Thru-Slot Speed Pocket increases the flexibility of the clubface and maintains ball speed and flight distance, especially on hits in the lower area of the clubface.
