Since his early Classics line, Scotty has produced putters with dark finishes and complementary colour combinations. The B3 Triple Black Design LTD Catalina returns to this concept, featuring a name from the past in a completely updated model designed for the present. It is slightly wider than a standard Newport and utilises the Super Select Newport Plus design, but without the aircraft-grade aluminium sole. Scotty has paired this new Catalina head with a clean single-bend shaft to achieve balanced performance in a more player-friendly blade length than the original. With its Tour Black finish, black shaft, and black Pistolini Plus grip, the "triple black" design of the Catalina includes the brand's signature milled triple cavity points, accented with a translucent smoke colour, as well as the custom shaft band, headcover, stainless steel sole weights, and the dual-milled face structure of the line. TOUR BLACK FINISH This PVD treatment has been developed to reduce glare from the sun and is intended for players who prefer a dark putter. It is applied to the putter head made of 303 stainless steel after the top and back have been hand-finished and the face and sole have been hand-polished. The chrome shaft features the same Tour Black finish, and the black Pistolini Plus grip completes the "triple black design." SINGLE BEND SHAFT The Catalina has been designed for players who execute a straighter, more direct putting stroke. Its shaft-over-spud design offers balanced performance near the face with less toe hang and a unique view of the top line at address, as the shaft has only one bend and there is no traditional neck. DUAL-MILLED FACE TECHNOLOGY The dual-milled face technology combines the legendary softness of deep-milled putters with the consistency and feedback of medium-milled models.
