The Mustang putter from PXG is part of the Battle Ready range and has a blade shape with heavier weights in the heel and toe, which results in more stability and forgiveness. These properties in turn ensure smooth strokes so that more putts can be sunk. The putter is made of 303 stainless steel and high-density tungsten in the rear area. The small wing lugs are golf ball width apart, which together with the sight line in the center of the club head helps with alignment.
Optimized clubface pattern
The pyramid-shaped face pattern has been redesigned for maximum performance. The depth of the grooves has been adjusted to adapt the feel and ball launch speed across the entire clubface. The revised clubface design also ensures consistency in all key factors, such as launch angle, spin and glide distance.
Precise weighting
The balance of the putter can be adjusted by placing the weights differently in the sole. Depending on the hosel, this can influence the weight of the club head or the launch conditions.
High-density tungsten inserts
The tungsten inserts in the heel and toe lower the center of gravity, increase forgiveness and stability and thus improve the golfer's ability to guide the clubface correctly at impact.
Plumber's neck
The Plumber's Neck Hosel places the shaft axis in the middle between the heel and the center of the clubface, which results in a medium toe hang and reduces sluggish rotational forces. It is therefore ideal for players with little clubface rotation and can be used with both straight and curved strokes.
