FastLayer core The FastLayer core is soft in the center and firm at the edges, giving you speed and feel so you can play with confidence and distance. A special heat treatment makes the outer areas of the core faster, while the center remains comfortably soft. The transition from soft to firm is gradual, giving you consistent performance from shot to shot and racquet to racquet. Urethane cover and spin skin with SeRM All golf balls in the Z-STAR series have an extra thin, thermoplastic urethane cover. For even more spin and control, the balls also have Srixon's Spin Skin coating.
