The result is increased ball speed and improved distance. Carbon fiber crown and sole The lightweight composite crown and sole inserts are made from a high-quality carbon fiber composite using a sophisticated compression molding process in a pre-preg process. The use of this lightweight yet strong component allows our engineers to optimize the weight distribution in the club head to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) and move the center of gravity lower and further back, resulting in improved distance performance and forgiveness. Precision Weighting Technology The Black Ops Driver features two light (2.5g) and one heavy (12.5g) sole weights as standard, which are interchangeable to support preferred spin and bias settings. The weights are available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20 gram weight classes, making it easy to adjust the overall weight of the club head and the bias of the club for each individual player. The adjustable weighting can also be used to increase the combined MOI to over 10K grams - cm^2. Uneven camber and roll design This design technique optimizes Driver performance by strategically adjusting the horizontal and vertical curvatures of the clubface. The design supports improved forgiveness and enhances overall performance by optimizing the club's response to off-center hits. With the Robotic Face Polishing Process, we can design and consistently produce uneven bulge and roll face radii. Optimizing the natural frequency Natural frequency optimization involves fine-tuning the inherent vibration patterns or resonances within the structure of the club head to improve performance. This optimization aims to improve the feel, sound and performance of the Driver at impact with the golf ball. Specifications:
