After being specially styled for events in California and North Carolina, the Nike Pegasus 89 Golf now makes a trip across the pond in honor of Royal Troon in Scotland. Once again, we see a complete design overhaul with ties to the golf course and Scottish culture in general, complete with unique materials and other thoughtful elements. The heel sports a tartan pattern modeled after traditional Scottish kilts and is complemented by a cork heel just below. The rest of the uniform consists of saddle brown and light gray overlays on an olive green mesh base that pays a decided homage to traditional dress. Other features include special tongue and heel branding, a unique metallic laceubrae and a cartoon graphic of a wind-spitting cloud on the insoles. The Nike Air Pegasus 89 Golf is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also designed for functionality on the golf course.
