The Mizuno ST-Z Driver is aimed at better and more ambitious players with consistent ball contact. The weight in the club head is positioned low and centrally to give the ball less spin and therefore more length. Highly Resilient Forged Racket Face Probably the most important innovation is in the clubface. A high-strength Beta Ti, SAT2041 retains its properties, resists micro-cracking longer and offers 17% more tensile strength and 8% more flexibility than the commonly used 6-4 Ti. The added tensile strength and flexibility has a direct impact on speed, allowing balls to launch faster. New Cortech Face of Varying Thickness The face has been optimised to get the maximum return from the Mizuno Beta Ti Face. Thin-hit balls saw the most significant improvement in ball speed. Compact and Solid Feedback Mizuno engineers invested a year to carve out a muted, powerful sound. Z-axis Design for Straight Ball Flight The balanced use of carbon composite on the sole and the deep, central sole weight are geared towards a straight ball flight and bring low spin. When addressing, the driver looks wide with a low contact area and a neutral visual lie angle. Optimised Wave Sole Adds to ball speed, especially on thin-hitting shots. Quick Switch Adjustment Easily change the loft at the hosel by up to 4 degrees - 2 degrees up and 2 degrees down. Specifications:
