This model has a rounder, deeper profile with more weight closer to the hosel. This gives most players a little more spin and draw, for top players it makes the Driver more practicable, especially with less loft. Players with a natural draw will achieve higher ball speeds with the ST-X. The CORTECH-Chamber is the booster for more speed from the clubface, less spin and an incredibly solid feel at impact. CORTECH-Chamber Mizuno's CORTECH-Chamber encloses a stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU - this relieves the clubface and creates an additional source of energy. At the same time, the weight is positioned closer to the clubface to reduce spin rate and contribute to a more solid, powerful feel at impact. Unified Sole Composite The carbon sole plate is now made from one piece. This increases the weight saving to the maximum and contributes extremely to the overall stability.
