Forged in Hiroshima, Japan Mizuno irons have been manufactured there since 1968 – forged from a single piece of Grain Flow HD Boron. Craftsman-Refined Topline Mass from the toe area and a lower hosel provide a smaller profile without sacrificing effective hitting area. Extensive Sole Relief Reinforced sole relief in the heel and toe area for all 5 grind options. Spin-Emphasized Blade Design An expanded upper part of the blade ensures more spin and a penetrating trajectory – especially on shots high on the face. Quadcut + Groove Adjustment of the curvature of the groove shoulder and tapering of the groove profile allows for a tighter groove pattern for higher spin rates on all shots. Performance in Wet Weather Mizuno's HydroFlow Micro Grooves are laser-etched to channel moisture and reduce spin drop. Loft-Specific Profile Straight leading edge on lower lofts (up to 51), transitioning to a traditional teardrop on lob wedges (58 and higher). Three Surface Options Soft White Satin (with copper underlay), Denim Copper, and Tour Raw. Specifications:
