The Mizuno ST-X Driver is designed for average golfers with slice tendencies. It supports the draw as a trajectory through clever weight placement in the club head. This is beneficial for more distance as the ball has less spin, flies further, and rolls further after impact. Highly-resilient Club Face The most important innovation is likely in the clubface. A high-strength Beta Ti, SAT2041 retains its properties, resists micro-cracking longer, and offers 17% more tensile strength and 8% more flexibility than the commonly used 6-4 Ti. The added tensile strength and flexibility has a direct impact on speed, allowing balls to launch faster. New Cortech Face of Varying Thickness The face has been optimised to get the maximum return from the Mizuno Beta Ti Face. Thin-hit balls saw the most significant improvement in ball speed. Compact and Solid Feedback Mizuno engineers invested a year to carve out a muted, powerful sound. X-axis Design for Draw Tilt Carbon composite window located at the tip. Combined with heel-reinforced sole weight, provides reliable draw tilt. Optimised Wave Sole Adds to ball speed, especially on thin-hitting shots. More Compact Profile Slightly deeper rear area and an upright, visual lie angle. Quick Switch Adjustment Easily change the loft at the hosel by up to 4 degrees - 2 degrees up and 2 degrees down.
