The Mavrik Driver from Callaway is the fastest driver Callaway has ever built thanks to the new Cyclone Aero Shape design! With the Mavrik, Callaway heralds the next generation of drivers developed with the help of artificial intelligence. A new, even more powerful super-computer was used to calculate thousands of face configurations and determine the best one. A separate clubface was calculated for each loft variant, representing a real revolution in the development of golf clubs. The result is a clubface that generates maximum ball speed for both centered and off-center hits and is optimally matched to the respective ball flight characteristics of the individual lofts. Crucial conclusions were drawn from the development of last year's Epic Flash model to significantly improve the new Flash Face SS20, especially for poorer hits! Thanks to the additional forgiveness of the clubface, the focus of the head design of the Mavrik Driver was placed on aerodynamics. The new Cyclone Aero Shape design reduces air resistance by an incredible 61% compared to the Epic Flash! This enables maximum club head speed for every golfer and leads to unprecedented distances. • By using artificial intelligence, the new Flash Face SS20 has found the optimum shape to generate the highest possible ball speeds. Compared to the previous year, off-centre hits in particular have been optimized in this version to offer additional forgiveness.

High-strength FS2S titanium face

• The SS20 Flash Face is made from a new, extremely strong titanium alloy and enables optimum energy transfer for maximum ball speed. FS2S titanium is not only high-strength, but also particularly light, saving 6g of weight on the new face. This enables optimum durability, saves weight and maximizes ball speed.

Cyclone Aero Shape

• The newly developed head shape was tested in the wind tunnel and optimized for minimum air resistance. Less air resistance leads to higher club head speeds and therefore greater distances.

Jailbreak technology

• Jailbreak technology enables particularly high efficiency and ball speed due to less deformation of the club head. Two titanium rods mounted vertically behind the clubface counteract the deformation and prevent energy loss at impact.

T2C carbon crown

• The T2C carbon crown used is designed to be significantly lighter. The weight saved has been strategically positioned for a higher moment of inertia, improving the forgiveness of the Driver.
