This model features a rounder, deeper profile with more weight closer to the hosel. This provides most players with a bit more spin and draw, making the driver more practical, especially with less loft for advanced players. Players with a natural draw achieve higher ball speeds with the ST-X. The CORTECH Chamber acts as a booster for more speed off the face, less spin, and an incredibly solid feel at impact. CORTECH Chamber Mizuno's CORTECH Chamber encases a stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU – this unloads the face and creates an additional energy source. At the same time, the weight is positioned closer to the face to reduce spin rate and contribute to a more solid, powerful feel at impact. Unified Sole Composite The carbon sole plate is now made from a single piece. This maximizes weight savings and contributes significantly to overall stability. Deeper Profile A rounded, slightly higher look. Square alignment with a neutral setting.
