The result is increased ball speed and improved distance.Carbon fibre crown and soleThe lightweight composite crown and sole inserts are manufactured from a high-quality carbon fibre composite using a sophisticated compression moulding process in a pre-preg process. The use of this lightweight yet strong component allows our engineers to optimise the weight distribution in the club head to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) and move the centre of gravity lower and further back, resulting in improved distance performance and forgiveness.Precision weighting technologyThe Black Ops Driver features two light (2.5g) and one heavy (12.5g) sole weights as standard, which are interchangeable to support preferred spin and bias settings. The weights are available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5 and 20 gram weight classes so that the overall weight of the club head and the bias of the club can be easily adjusted for each individual player. The adjustable weighting can also be used to increase the combined MOI to over 10K grams - cm^2.Uneven camber and roll designThis design technique optimises driver performance by strategically adjusting the horizontal and vertical curvatures of the clubface. The design supports improved forgiveness and enhances overall performance by optimising the club's response to off-centre shots. With the Robotic Face Polishing Process, we can design and consistently produce uneven bulge and roll face radii.Optimising the natural frequencyNatural frequency optimisation involves fine-tuning the inherent vibration patterns or resonances within the structure of the club head to improve performance.
