 Lighter shafts and grips

The premium ULT250 Lite and Ultra Lite graphite shafts developed by PING are standard on the G Le3 metalwoods and irons to reduce the overall weight of the club while allowing for more club head speed and higher ball launch. The lighter Lamkin ST Soft handle is softer and more comfortable.

 Iconic Sand Wedge Update

The engineers have taken the proven features of the iconic EYE2 sand wedge and given it a modern look. The slimmer hosel, wider sole and more traditional head shape combined with the fully milled grooves take the fear out of bunker play. The PW and UW also feature fully milled grooves.

 Irons for distance

A lower centre of gravity and specially developed lofts provide more distance. The thinner clubface, which positions the mass low and on the outside, ensures forgiveness. High density heel weights contribute to MOI, allow for light swing weights, and a PurFlex cavity badge contributes to the clubface flex and pleasing sound.

The maraging steel face flexes faster and provides more distance and high launch. The transition from iron to hybrid is made easier by a new length progression. Each hybrid is ¼ inch longer to create consistent gapping. The dual-roll face profile provides consistent spin, especially in the higher hits on the face.
