The RTX 3 CB Tour Satin is the cavity back model in the RTX 3 series with a first-class satin design. The special feature is the new feel-balancing technology. It shifts the centre of gravity closer to the club face and thus to the area where the ball is struck. This design is intended to reduce vibration and maximise stability. By adding a microcavity in the shorter hosel, 9 grams of weight could be saved and repositioned in the club head. This shift of the centre of gravity to the centre is intended to improve the feel of the game, provide more control and reduce shot dispersion. The sole design helps maintain club head speed by reducing contact with the ground. The RTX-3 Cavity Back wedge has a slightly larger head design and has a stronger heel-to-toe weight distribution.

The RTX 3 wedges offer three sole grinds

1. V-LG Sole: The narrowest sole – designed to provide maximum versatility with low bounce. It is suitable for fixed ground conditions and flat response angles.
   
2. V-MG sole: Very versatile all-purpose sole with medium bounce.
   
3. V-FG sole: Full-sole design with an extremely wide sole and a polished trailing edge responds to steeper angles of attack. Suitable for soft and humid conditions.

The special features of the cavity back design

• Stronger weight distribution towards the toe, which shifts the centre of gravity more towards the centre of the club face.
  
• A soft TPU insert dampens the vibration upon impact.
  
• The material at the transition to the hosel is not as thick as in the blade model.
