Straighter putts thanks to weight in the face - the Cleveland Frontline putters offer a completely new, revolutionary approach to forgiveness in putters. Although the theory behind the idea is complex, the putter is all the more convincing in practice. From the first putt, the Cleveland Frontline offers a particularly stable and simply different feel, see for yourself! How is a forgiving putter made? Mallet putters in particular have been built with as high a moment of inertia as possible for years in order to make the club more forgiving. A high moment of inertia is intended to ensure that the face does not open when the ball is hit off-center and that the ball runs straight despite the "bad" hit. In order to generate a maximum MOI value, "high-MOI" mallet putters are designed with a particularly low center of gravity, i.e. the weight is far behind the clubface and far to the outside. Cleveland Golf has now found out for the first time with the help of computer simulations that a mallet with a high MOI stabilizes the clubface significantly, but the low centre of gravity continues to exert a lateral force on the ball and steers it out of direction. Cleveland Golf's tests showed that the lowest deviation on an off-center hit is created by a head with a high MOI and a center of gravity as close to the clubface as possible. In order to achieve this, two Tungsten weights were inserted into the clubface, shifting the entire 47.3g weight and thus the club's center of gravity close to the clubface. According to Cleveland Golf, a putt from 4.5m can therefore be holed with a frontline putter at the same rate as a 3m putt with a conventional putter head! • Using a state-of-the-art injection molding process, a full 47.3g of Tungsten was positioned at the height of the clubface. In this way, a center of gravity is achieved very close to the flapping surface. By positioning the tungsten far outwards, the MOI of the club head is also kept high. The result is the easiest to play putter Cleveland has ever built.

Speed Optimized Face Technology - SOFT

• Frontline putters are equipped with SOFT technology to ensure that balls hit off-centre not only run straight ahead, but also the same distance as an optimal contact. The forged aluminium face generates a constant speed across the entire face thanks to the specially machined surface.

• The Frontline series offers the right head model for every type of player. Both larger mallets and a classic blade are available. Thanks to the different hosels, both players with a straight and a light bow will find what they are looking for.
