High flex mantle layer The Pro V1's mantle layers interact with the high-gradient cores to neutralise excess spin, while combining with the soft moulded urethane/elastomer™ shell for incomparable spin and control around the green. Duroplastic Urethane/Elastomer™ Shell The patented urethane/elastomer shells of Pro V1 Golf Balls are manufactured from 2 components using Titleist's proprietary process and poured into Titleist's proprietary shell moulds, which form the Dimple pattern of the shell. The temperature and exact timing of the curing process are critical to the durability and performance golfers experience on the course. Spherically arranged tetrahedron Dimple designs With a 388 Dimple design on the Pro V1 and a 348 Dimple design on the Pro V1x, both golf ball models have aerodynamics optimised for their respective requirements to fly smoothly and far.
