Larger clubface with full-length grooves: It's simple math. Our all-new larger club faces combined with new full-length grooves give you more hitting area. But not just a little more, you get up to 46% more hitting area than the equivalent Smart Sole 4 models. And no, that's not a typo. We said 46%. Because the hitting area increased significantly, the MOI also increased significantly, which increases the margin of error - especially on shots from the toe - so you have fewer misses.

HydraZip: Our proprietary HydraZip clubface technology features a dynamic jet and laser milling line system that increases surface friction and maximizes spin consistency in wet or dry conditions and from anywhere around the green.

Due to its low loft, the chipper requires fewer rough faces and fewer lines to maximize its spin performance. The gap wedge, with its slightly higher loft, gets a slightly rougher beam and more lines. And the sand and lob wedges, with their highest lofts, get the roughest rays and the most lines to increase friction and improve consistency.

UltiZip: UltiZip face technology creates a specialized sequence of sharper, deeper and tighter grooves to provide ultimate short game spin, control, consistency and bite. Sharper grooves let you cut through grass and dirt. Deeper grooves create space for grass, sand, dirt or water to exit the impact zone. Narrower grooves offer more bite and better edge contact. Because they are narrower, we have added even more grooves from heel to toe than usual.

Three-Stage Soles: There's nothing more disappointing than getting into scoring position and hitting the wedge shot out of bounds. That's why we've refined these soles to give you more efficient interaction with the turf through first and second cuts, rough, sand and even hard ground.
