The Mack Daddy 5 Jaws wedges with platinum chrome finish offer even more spin and control than their predecessors thanks to the new, extremely sharp groove design and proven groove-in-groove technology. There are fine micro-grooves between the actual grooves. This has increased the number of contact points with the ball from 16 to 84 - the result is more spin for more controlled clubs. Five different sole grinds make the JAWS wedges extremely versatile:C-Grind: The increased heel relief enables different types of shots with an open clubface. The C-Grind is particularly suitable for medium to flat attack angles and harder ground conditions. S-Grind: A medium-width sole and moderate heel relief keep the leading edge low at impact. The optimal sole grind for full clubs. W-Grind: The sole is wider in the centre and toe, but narrower in the heel. The W-Grind is particularly suitable for steep to medium attack angles and harder ground conditions. It is also the most forgiving sole grind. X-Grind: This grind offers a narrow, sickle-shaped sole with a low point at the front. It is particularly suitable for moderate to steep attack angles and medium to soft court conditions. Low Bounce W-Grind: This new grind offers the advantages of the W-Grind with less bounce, for example to get under the ball well in harder ground conditions. The C and X grinds are primarily aimed at golfers who want to play a wide variety of clubs.
